Sherwood Medical Marijuana Doctor

Ozark MMJ Cards provides medical marijuana card renewals services to residents of Sherwood Arkansas.

Located about 15 miles from the state’s capital city of Little Rock, Sherwood’s centralized location offers access to many dining, shopping, and lodging options. Residents and visitors look forward to several annual events, including the Sherwood Fall Festival and the Enchanted Forest and Holiday Trail of Lights. The Fall Festival, also known as Sherwood Fest, has been held every September for the past 43 years. A multi-use facility, aptly named Sherwood Forest, is frequently utilized for the community’s special events. Sherwood’s recreational facilities also include an outdoor pavilion, a playground, horseshoes, basketball court, miniature golf course, and volleyball court. Seventeen community parks and recreational facilities are also located in Sherwood and amenities include a gymnasium, Olympic-sized pool, running tracks, tennis courts, and a fishing lake.

Sherwood’s Enchanted Forest Trail of Lights is a drive-thru trail with the entrance located at the Sherwood Sports Complex, 511 Bear Paw Road. Opening the Monday after Thanksgiving, the Trail of Lights runs through Dec. 30 every evening. The gates to the Sports Complex close at 9:30 p.m. each night to allow time for vehicles already within the parking lot gates to view the mile+ of spectacular holiday lights. Admission is free but donations to fund future displays are welcomed.

Halloween is another time for community fun in Sherwood. The town’s Halloween Carnival provides a safe trick-or-treating option for parents and a fun opportunity for the kids. The City of Sherwood’s Parks & Recreation Department hosts this free event in the Forest Room at Sherwood Forest, 1111 W. Maryland Avenue. The carnival booths with games, trick-or-treating, prizes, and a costume contest for ages 0 to 12 are all open to the public. This community event is sponsored by local businesses and community organizations. In addition to the carnival, the Sherwood Mayor’s Youth Council, along with the Sherwood Day Camp counselors, host an annual haunted house in the Sherwood Room at Sherwood Forest. Ticket sales for the haunted house benefit the Youth Council’s field trips and other educational activities throughout the school year.

The unique Historic Roundtop Filling Station is one of only two structures in Sherwood to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1936 by Justin Matthews Company for the Pierce Oil Company, the building is used as a substation for the Sherwood Police Department. Pierce Oil was one of the “baby Standards” established following the U.S. Government’s breakup of John D. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil Company in 1911.
