Bono Medical Marijuana Doctor

Ozark MMJ Cards provides medical marijuana cards to residents of Bono, Arkansas. Bono is located eight miles northwest of the county seat of Jonesboro and in the lowlands of Crowley’s Ridge in Craighead County. As a result of its lowlands location, flooding has always been a problem for the town and local officials have long discussed relief projects. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission purchased 275 acres of timberland in 2001 for the construction of a 135-acre lake to serve as a watershed, but federal funds for the project were never approved. Lake Bono was eventually constructed and is in use, but continues to have engineering issues requiring more funds and could be drained in the future rather than continuing to be a county expense. Bono is known for having the state’s best tasting water according to the Arkansas Rural Water Association.

Bono is connected to the rest of the state via U.S. Highway 63, one of the main highways through northeast Arkansas. Before the construction of the railroad in Craighead County, the economy of the area was agriculturally-based and included farming, sawmills, gristmills, and cotton gins. Today, Bono is home to the Jimco Lamp Company and Inboden Brothers Seed and Fertilizer Company. New home construction, as well as apartment construction, has grown in order to accommodate the need for affordable housing in the area.

Residents of Bono are served by two water storage towers with a combined capacity of 250,000 gallons. The town also has natural gas generators at both stations ensuring power supply to its residents. The Bono Police Department employs four full-time officers as well as Tango the Police dog and a contingent of auxiliary officers to ensure the community’s safety.

The Ozark MMJ Card process: a potential patient will submit the patient information form found on our website and upload a record of a qualifying condition. Within one business day, the patient will receive a phone call to schedule a concierge appointment. Visits generally take about 15 minutes, but extra time is reserved so the doctor is able to answer any questions the patient may have. Upon conclusion of the certification, the patient will receive the Physician’s Written Certification required for a State-issued medical marijuana card. We guide every patient through the process of applying with the state of Arkansas, once you have received your medical recommendation from Ozark MMJ Card’s concierge physician.

For patients without documentation of a qualifying condition, an appointment will need to be scheduled with our concierge service to confirm qualification before proceeding with medical marijuana card certification. Per HIPAA regulations, any information obtained between a physician and a patient in a bona fide medical arrangement is completely confidential and private. This is known as Protected Health Information and a third party can only obtain it with the written consent of the patient. Qualification is not guaranteed. Qualifying is based on the doctor’s determination, qualifying conditions, and a patient’s complete medical history.

Ozark MMJ Cards (Arkansas Medical Marijuana Cards) was founded by Dr. Daniel Whitelocke to ensure patients receive quality care and have access to alternative medicines including medical cannabis. After extensive research on the benefits of medical marijuana card programs in other states, Dr. Whitelocke decided he wanted to help patients by offering affordable medical cannabis card certifications.
