Summer McVicker

General Manager

Summer McVicker is one of the newest members to the Ozark MMJ Cards team. Her role as our General Manager means that she has to know the ins and outs of every job, and be able to fill in, where needed. She has done extremely well in this position and is dedicated to giving every customer a positive experience, guidance, and information about the medical marijuana application and certification process.

Summer grew up in the Northwest Arkansas region, and went to high school in Siloam Springs. She has been working at our Little Rock, Arkansas office to get it up and running as well as training new employees, but will soon be working remotely from her home and traveling to our locations as needed.

After graduating high school, she attended the University of Arkansas Fayetteville for Hospitality Management for a time. She then spent 5 years working in restaurant management before deciding to turn her sights on serving our clinics and the medical marijuana community. In the future she wants to return to college for Nutrition to continue helping people.

Summer is responsible for reviewing all Oklahoma and Missouri patients’ applications that are submitted to Ozark MMJ Cards. She informs the patients if they qualify based on the medical history they provided and helps patients revise their application as needed. If there is a question, she asks one of our doctors and figures out exactly what documentation is needed. Only once she is confident the patient has a solid qualifying application will she invite the patient to book a paid appointment for the doctors to certify them based on the history we have on file.

She is also responsible for receiving and responding to emails, texts, and phone calls on behalf of all the Ozark MMJ Cards locations, as well as managing patients’ anxieties about the medical marijuana process or related technology, checking patients into their appointment, and helping train new associates. Basically, Summer has been up to the challenge of excelling wherever she is needed. Her dedication to the company has really helped us at a key time in our growth, and we appreciate Summer’s can-do attitude!

In her free time, Summer likes to cook, go hiking, and is a HUGE animal lover. Her passion for cooking comes from her parents encouraging her to develop her skills at a young age. She even competed on the NWACC culinary team where they placed second at State. Summer thinks there is no better place to camp and go hiking than the Ozark National Forest, where she likes to spend her weekends during the autumn season. At home she has 2 kitties and 2 puppies that she absolutely adores. Not a day goes by in the office without her sharing a photo of their latest antics.
