Ozark MMJ Cards Now Offers Telemedicine Appointments
Ozark MMJ Cards is dedicated to providing flexibility and quality care to patients and is excited to announce that virtual certifications or telemedicine appointments been added to its services to increase patient access for dispensary card certifications.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of social distancing, the state of Arkansas is allowing telemedicine and phone consultations to qualify patients for dispensary card certifications. Telemedicine, also known as eVisits or virtual appointments, allow healthcare professionals the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients via a video conference with audio and video feed. A patient can meet with a doctor for an evaluation and receive qualification to receive an Arkansas medical marijuana card certification via a telemedicine appointment.
According to Dr. Whitelocke, the founder of Ozark MMJ Cards, “We continue to follow published CDC safety standards and adhere to strict social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our community of Northwest Arkansas and our patients’ health is our top priority! We strive to exceed our patients’ expectations of quality, innovation, value, convenience, and flexibility. We believe our new telemedicine service will make it easier and more convenient for our patients, while also meeting their budget needs. We are also offering medical marijuana card certifications at our office in Bentonville via a glass window to ensure patient safety. We understand the virus has impacted many and we are offering telemedicine appointments for medical marijuana card certifications for only $100! we don’t want cost or convenience to be an obstacle for a patient to receive the medicine they need.”
Telemedicine appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (to schedule an appointment, visit https://www.ozarkmmjcards.com/ ). In preparation for the telemedicine appointment, patients will need to complete the new patient information forms via a HIPAA compliant system. After forms are completed, a web link will be sent by email to the patient to use to login into the eVisit. At the scheduled appointment date and time, the patient will click on the link to join the meeting. Patients are able to meet from anywhere that has privacy and access to the internet. The telemedicine consultation with the Doctor will take about 15 to 30 minutes. If the patient is not able to login due to technical reasons, the MMJ appointment can also be temporarily conducted over the phone.
